Participating in the VI-th International Folk Festival, Budva 2010 The Folk Ensemble "Durrësi” under the care of the Cultural Foundation Bluepidamnus, will represent Albania in this festival by presenting itself with folk dances from all regions of Albania. The successful exhibition of the 3 previous years has made it possible for this ensemble to exhibit again. This festival is considered as one of the most important in the Balkans. Other countries such as: Serbia, Macedonia, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Croatia, Slovenia, Ukraine, Poland, Greece and Montenegro will participate as well. Date 29, 30, 31 August 2010. The Old City, Budva.

landscapes, portraits, compositions “DidArt” Gallery Summer brings varieties also in the exhibitions opened in “DidArt” gallery. After the personal exhibition of the painter Shkëlqim Kokonozi, the amateurs of art in the capital city, but also the immigrants spending their days in Tirana can follow the exhibition of the 7 well-known albanian painters. Adrian Çene, Shkëlqim Kokonozi, Lekë Tasi, Skënder Kamberi, Lec Shkreli, Ardian Devolli and Çlirim Ceka each come with two works. The painters reflect different perceptions and feelings, but the exhibition comes as a whole. All the works have been realized during 2010 and are presented for the first time for the public. National Museum of History and Parliament
In memory of Mother Theresa’s 100-th birth anniversary, in the surroundings of the Parliament comes a photo exhibition dedicated to the life and mission of the great Albanian humanist, Mother Theresa. The exhibition opened in the surroundings of the Parliament contains photos and special biographic and historic documents for this unique personality, with extraordinary human dimensions. Also, since 26 august, in the surroundings of the National Museum another exhibition will open dedicated to Mother Theresa. In this exhibition organized by the National Museum of History and the cultural foundation “Nënë Tereza” will exhibit photos and objects of Mother Theresa. Meanwhile in the surroundings of the National Library the exhibition “Twelve saints” stays open. In this exhibition you will find works of a rare value for Mother Theresa and all those distinct albanian personalities declared as saints by the Holy Church.

Korce
“The International Symposium of Park Sculptures” 5 sculptors “Rinia” Park The city of Korça, where tradition of works of art find its best feature, will become once more the welcoming city of sculptors of the country, the region and further more. During 2008-2009, the City Hall has welcomed 16 artists in this Symposium who have donated 16 works of contemporaneous art in stone. While on this edition 5 sculptors are expected to participate. These works can be visited by the citizens and foreign visitors. Date. 25 June-5 July
